Stuttgart/Munich, 10 November 2022: Rödl & Partner has advised Rigol Technologies Co., Ltd. (Rigol) on its successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Chinese Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Rigol raised approximately 1.85 billion Renminbi (approximately 265 million Euros) in the course of the IPO. 30 million new shares were issued at a price of 60.88 Renminbi (approximately 8.69 Euros) each.
A specialised German-Chinese team of Rödl & Partner supported Rigol during the IPO in legal matters around the German subsidiary RIGOL Technologies EU GmbH (Rigol GmbH). The main focus of the advice was a legal due diligence review according to the requirements of the Listing Rules of the Shanghai Stock Exchange as well as the issuance of a legal opinion according to German law. Overall project management was led by our Partner Jiawei Wang (Head of China Practice Stuttgart) and Senior Associate Daojie Wang from our Shanghai office. The German part was executed by Partner Thomas Fräbel and Senior Associate Moritz Sippel from Munich office.
