Rödl & Partner strengthens Transaction Services offering in Switzerland with the arrival of Michael Horwat

Zurich, 20.3.2024: Rödl & Partner expands its Transactions Services offering in Switzerland. Michael Horwat (44) joins Rödl & Partner and has assumed the lead for Transaction Services in Zurich.

Michael has advised clients on M&A transactions for over 18 years, predominantly focusing on financial due diligence. Having worked for several years in Vienna and London, he relocated and continued his career in Zürich just over eight years ago.

Michael has supported PE funds as well as corporations – ranging from mid-market “hidden champions” to multinational enterprises. His expertise encompasses, amongst others, support in so-called succession situations as well as carve-out perimeter transactions. In addition, he has extensive experience in advising public sector authorities.

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (Austria) and has passed the EXPERT-suisse hosted Swiss law for foreign accountants exam. He is a CFA Charterholder.
